In today’s professional sports, athletes are viewed as role models and even idols for many people of all ages. Unfortunately, these people are not always the best choices of role models for kids and teens looking for an example of how to become ”a superstar” or to live for that…
I stumbled upon this yesterday. Absolutely love it.
and by stumbled upon I mean I pressed the stumble button and this showed up.
It hit me really hard.
Mistakes.
From mistakes, we just realize what we do want, what we don’t want, what we deserve, what we value, what bothers us, what doesn’t bother us. Maybe we regret taking a certain class, maybe we regret ordering that thing from Taco Bell that made us feel sick later. The applications are endless.
Making mistakes is a way for us to figure out the world around us. And although it sucks, it’s just a part of life.. so why not embrace it when it happens?
That’s what I’m trying to do!
